Red Lion Inn wedding – Stockbridge, MA
Lexi and Mark used the hashtag #impactwedding for their Red Lion Inn wedding celebration in the Berkshires area of Stockbridge, Massachusetts for different reasons than I did. They are very concerned about the impacts of their vendor choices for not only their wedding, but also their whole lives: they purchase from, and look for high quality, locally-made, job-creating businesses. To that end, Shinola products and influences played a major part in the day: rings, favors, attire.
I say impact wedding because just look at how fantastic they are!
Guests came to the Red Lion Inn wedding from the far corners, yet everyone felt like they were part of the family. I had never been to the Berkshires and I wanted to stay all summer. There’s just something about a rolling, pastoral fields that make all your cares seem to disappear.
Don’t you just love a made-for-twirling gown? Lexi’s dress from BHLDN made everyone want to start dancing!
The Red Lion Inn (and the Berkshires in general) has a long, storied past. Don’t confuse this with the chain of hotels. This place is one of a kind, and you could spend hours wandering the halls, discovering the artifacts and perhaps meet a ghost–I’m told they’re all friendly. It was a perfect venue for a wonderful weekend of festivities. Congratulations Lexi and Mark!
