I love how close Meridian Hill Park is to me in Washington, D.C. Every time I go I find a new favorite spot!
And goodness how these two make it all look so easy. I lost count the number of times I said “You guys are awesome!” Marcy and Jeff wandered with me through some of the many paths of Meridian Hill and Malcolm X parks smiling all the way. And just look at those smiles!
Marcy has one of the most expressive faces I’ve ever seen. Every spot in Meridian Hill became an opportunity to make Jeff (and me) laugh. Jeff and Marcy together have a stunningly beautiful combination of personalities: funny, open, patient, ambitious and welcoming. They sure do have impressive resumes too, both have worked (and are working) hard to make the world a better place.
While the weather ended up a bit on the gray and gloomy side, these two — who are most definitely, without question, totally and absolutely in love –- brought all the sunshine with their fun, easy-going, casual way. Have I mentioned how much I love my job? While this wasn’t an official engagement session, it is such a thrill to photograph people when they are able to let all barriers down, and allow themselves to express how excited they are about each other.
