“Does everyone bring champagne to their engagement photos?” The question should really be “Why doesn’t everyone bring champagne to their engagement photos?” Following a wine consult at Weygandt Wines, Hannah and Johan selected the oh so appropriate RosÉmotion from Champagne J.L. Vergnon (this is seriously good stuff and if you can find it, buy it!). We popped the cork and toasted a perfect summer evening and wound our way through the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
Pretending to be residents, these two found themselves giggling with each other and delighting the neighbors in the process. If you know anything about Georgetown at all, you know the cobblestoned residential streets and alleys are some of the most storied — and most beautiful — in all of D.C.

Georgetown definitely brings the feel of D.C. to a photoshoot, even if it’s just a hint in the backdrop.
And at the heart of this engagement session it becomes patently obvious that Hannah and Johan are the type of free-spirited, fun (and funny), genuine people that make everyone want to be their best friends. Especially when they share their celebration champagne with their photographer! Cheers to your love, friends!
